After answering an unusual emergency call from a remote mining base, Jack arrives in the gloomy and deserted Fort Solis. Isolated mining base
Fort Solis rises gloomily above the landscape and goes underground for many levels. Players can explore the storm-plagued surface, dark, unlit service tunnels, and the various sections of the base that support its day-to-day functions, including engineering, medical, and communications. As the story progresses, you can return to all zones for new clues or just to feel the atmosphere in which Jack's fate is decided hour by hour.
